Account details (username, email, favourite team), gameplay activity (answers, calls made and their results, trivia scores, prizes won and redeemed), your device's approximate location at the moment you check in (used only to confirm you're at the venue — we don't track you afterwards), push notification tokens if you turn alerts on, and basic technical logs (errors, device type) to keep the game working.
To run the game: showing leaderboards (your username, avatar and results are visible to other players at your venue), validating check-ins, issuing and redeeming prizes, and sending game alerts you've opted into. We send game emails — a welcome, your night's results, and match reminders — as part of the service; every one includes an unsubscribe link. If you tick the offers box at sign-up, you agree to receive offers and news from Call It and its partners — our partners are the participating venues you have played at, who may contact you about their own events and offers. You can unsubscribe from those at any time. We don't sell your data.
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Vercel), which may process data outside Australia with equivalent safeguards. Venues you check in at can see your username, email address, email opt-in status and a summary of your activity at that venue (visits, games played, prizes) through their venue dashboard — they use this to run the game and understand their patrons. Emails on a venue's behalf are sent by Call It; a venue contacting you directly outside Call It is between you and the venue.
You can change your username and favourite team in Account, turn notifications off in your browser or device settings at any time, unsubscribe from emails with one click, and delete your account yourself in Account → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your profile, email and personal details immediately; anonymised gameplay statistics may be retained. You can also ask us to access or correct your data by emailing us.
